Three images while reading "Madam and the Rent Man" by Langston Hughes: _ A lonely big old woman. _ An empty and wrecked apartment. _ The Rent Man has a big mustache that covers his mouth.
I post a post on my blog already but I just want to make sure!
Three images that I see while reading the poem "Madam & the Rent Man" is:
-The first image I see is the women (narrator) is very mad and her face was red when she was talking to the rent man. The way she talk-her tone and the way she look is was all ANGER!! -My second image is I can see that the house is very terrible and dirty. The sink iks broke, kitchen floor squeals, attic leaks! The house is not organize and everything is broken which made a mess. I wonder how the madam can live in a house like that! -My third image is the rent man was very patient when he was asking her about the rent is due! The rent man doesn't want to argue and he just took his job seriously! "I'm just the agent, don't you see?" :D
Three images I see while reading the poem Madam and the Rent Man by Langston Hughes are:
~ An angry [big black] woman who was too tired making a living by a stink job like cleaning the street and now is asked to pay for a dirty APARTMENT!!! ~ An old, ugly, messy, smelly, dirty "apartment" which I think is no more than an abandoned place for rats and insects to live. Langston's descriptions draw so many pictures in my head. But the biggest one is still STINK PLACE!!! ~ I think both of them (Madam & Rent Man) were quite powerless. They have nothing to lose. Madam couldn't afford the rent so she would "go to Hades". She was just complaining because she wished they would think again and fix the house so that poor people won't have to pay to live in a rat house. The agent was powerless, too because his job is just to collect the money and give it to the land lord. Maybe he understood what Madam said but there was nothing he could do! The only thing they agreed with each other was that they ain't pleased. p/s: And I don't agree with the way they say we agreeS !!! :)

2. Second I can see that her house is very poor by the words that author describle her house.
3.Last, I can see that she will not pay money to the man.
I can feel the stinky smell of the apartment through Langston's words!!!
