How to Format your Research Paper
The following is an example of how to format a research paper.
(Please note that this is not a well written essay but merely an example of what a formatted essay should look like.)
Double space your paper.
Indent your paragraphs.
Include your Name, Teacher's Name, School and Date.
Use page numbers at the top of the pages with your name as a header on the left.
Include a Works Cited page at the end of your paper.

The Invention of the Telephone
In this essay I will explore the invention of the telephone and explain why I believe it is one of the best inventions ever created.
The telephone helps people connect to each other as well as make it easy to call someone for company, information or even for help.
The telephone was invented by Alexander Graham Bell in the United States of America
The telephone is one of the best inventions because it can help people communicate with one another over short and long distances and has had a huge influence on our global community.
In conclusion, I believe the telephone is one of the best inventions ever created because without it we would not be able to communicate so easily and freely with each other. It was also the root of the cellular phone and now the iPhones and Blackberries that we carry around in our pockets today. It is an incredible machine that has had an immeasurable impact on our business as well as social lives.

Dear Grade Sevens,
This weekend you are expected to complete the 5W's and 1 H worksheet for Monday's class. I will be checking your homework and giving you a homework grade.
