Child's Rights Project

You have been assigned to create a video or photo essay about Children's Rights.

If you are creating a video you need to write a script first. You need to have a problem, climax and a solution. Below is a graphic organizer that will help you see your skit develop and also assist you in correctly writing a script.

If you are creating a photo essay, you need to choose rights that you are going to highlight and then organize how you will present those in your presentation.

The Carpet Boy: Press Conference

Dear Students,
I want to let you know that I thought you all did a wonderful job playing the roles of the real-life characters from the book The Carpet Boy's Gift. I was so impressed with the difficult questions that were asked and the even more complex answers that were reciprocated. Thank you for making today's class a success.
Enjoy your weekend and we will continue with our Social Justice Unit on Monday.
Enjoy reading your novels!
